This is What Children Say ...

The Day Out

On the day out with Home-Start we got up really quick. All the mums and dads and kids were really excited everyone sat on the bus with juice and crisps we kept passing trees and grass and livestock finally we got to Burntisland. I could smell the salty sea and hear the seagulls crying. We got to the sand and all the kids were going onto the sand and playing and some swam in the water. We made sandcastles while Irene and Sandra flung people into the water. Finally it was lunchtime I sat down munching a peace and watched people eating biscuits and sweets. After lunch we went to play again, after a little while we went to the shows there was foodstalls and rides, who would have wanted to miss that treat. At 3pm we clambered back into the bus tired and we drove home and it was a great day. .

At the Zoo

One day I went to Edinburgh Zoo with Home-Start it was exalant. First we had to get the big bus to get there my mum had to sit my little sister on her knee. When we got there it was huge and me and my mum decided to start at the left and finish at the right. We saw all kinds of birds even Parats they were squicking loudly. I got two ice lollies but my favourite animal was the baby giraffe it was only six days old, we got a picnic at the park and you could see the chimps there to. It was an exalant day out.

Summer Trip

In the Summer me and my mum went to Almond Valley with Home-Start. I had a good day looking at the animals and touching the animals and playing at the play park and the adventure zone. I liked the ride on the tractor and steam train but best of all I made some new friends and I still play with them.

The Home-Start

Trip I loved the Home-Start Trip to Craigtoun Park the best thing was climbing the crows nest.

Easter Egg Hunt

At Easter I went to the Home-Start Easter Egg hunt at the Woodland Park. I enjoyed it because I got to hunt for eggs with all the other children. It was really really fun and I hope we do it again next year.
