Good Morning Britain supports Home-Start Clackmannanshire with new 1 Million Minutes campaign

Good Morning Britain is supporting us at Home-Start Clackmannanshire on their 1 Million Minutes campaign, which has been running throughout December to help those who are experiencing loneliness.
The campaign is asking viewers to pledge their time to charities looking for volunteers to connect and make people feel less alone. Viewers will be able to pledge their time – from a one-off 60 minute opportunity to longer volunteering opportunities.
We are a local charity that helps families with young children through their challenging times. Families struggling with isolation, loneliness and many other issues receive the support of a volunteer who will spend time in a family’s home helping them in the ways they need.
It has never been more important for us to talk about feeling lonely, especially following the acute isolation the cost of living crisis is currently causing millions of people throughout the country.
