Home Is Where We Start From

Here at Home-Start Clackmannanshire, we offer a unique service providing practical and emotional support to families with young children living across Clackmannanshire. Free of judgement, we offer compassionate, individual, and confidential support to young families.

We offer support to families who are struggling to get through the day due to their daily challenges. While every family’s challenges are unique, their struggles do tend to have similar origins:

We recognise that being a parent, wherever you live and whatever your circumstances, isn’t easy. To help give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start Clackmannanshire supports parents as they:

To help local families with their daily challenges, we offer support based on the following services:

Direct support from one of our 3 Family Support Coordinators
One to one support within the family home from one of our 30 home-visiting Family Support Volunteers
Telephone Befriender offering a supportive weekly chat
Walk and Talk Buddies to get out and about and chat
Support within one of our weekly Family Support Groups
Targeted weekly support groups such as Parents Only Group and Cooking Sessions
A work experience programme at our Charity Shop to gain retail skills and grow in confidence
