Employability Programme
Thanks to recent funding, we were able to formalise our learning and employability work at our shop in Alloa.
Until March 2024, we are offering up to 20 parents/carers training in all aspects of retail with opportunities to participate in accredited training courses in the areas of:
- First aid
- Health and safety
- Food hygiene
Being a parent/carer often doesn’t leave time for much else, which is why our Employability Programme offers flexible hours with a time commitment of 4-12h per week depending on what suits you best.
Our programme also includes a buddy support system that will give you access to services, such as CTSI, Positive Moves, College, and many more! The programme will support you to gain valuable transferable skills, and undertake training in retail, to ultimately take you that step further in your employability journey.
